Where: Skylight, Denver
When: May 9th, 2019 from 4-9pm
LET'S GLOW is Denver Fitness Week's fourth annual kickoff event, featuring workouts led by Krista Bonura of Transform Yoga (opening soon in RiNo) and Duality Fitness (opening in April in Sloan's Lake)!
About the workout:
Let's GLOW is all about contrast. FIERCE | Inspiring; ACTIVE | Reviving; CREATIVE | Motivational; COMMUNAL | Shareable; FESTIVE | Memorable. With the use of SoundOff silent disco headphone technology, Skylight will be transformed into two distinct spaces featuring a 30-minute Duality ResCon workout and 30 minute "FreeFlow" Vinyasa class. Each participant will experience each space, and we will switch groups after 30 minutes, for a total of 60 minutes.
Please bring a yoga mat, water and wear tennis shoes.
We will offer two class times this year: 4:30-5:30pm and 6:00-7:00pm!
"FreeFlow" is a Vinyasa based yoga class, where you have an opportunity to dive deeper into a conscious and intentional yoga practice. At Denver Fitness Week you will flow through a 30 minute version of this practice. Rocking out to the sounds of Missy Elliot, Drake, Chet Faker, Odesza, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and more. As the room flows together breath to movement you submerge yourself in a communal experience that awakens and restores both body and mind. All levels of practitioners are welcomed. Please BYOM, bring your own mat! Led by Krista Bonura from Transform Yoga
ResCon is a resistance and conditioning class where you will experience a fun and energizing workout utlizing mini-resistance bands in a new and exciting way. You will combine the use of resistance bands and cardio exercises for a full-body workout geared toward all fitness levels. The pace will be dynamic with high-intensity movements followed by slower, strength-based exercises. Set to a fun and upbeat playlist, ResCon will work your muscles in a completely new way and motivate you to keep pushing! Please bring a yoga mat, we will provide the rest! Led by Duality Fitness
